Hope that you all are doing well. We are still having lots of rain, but with 1/2 days of sunshine.
With the river flowing so well, we have had lots of visitors. Loving that!!
We would like to ask you to pray for next week. We are supposed to have a 2 day meeting with the new and former Chayahuita board at the house. We want to get to know the new men better and let the former ones share what has transpired with the C2C partnership. This will also be a planning session for next year to see what types of things they would like us to be involved in and doing. Pray for wisdom for us all.
We have been told of some other villages close by that now puts the number of villages to more than 140. WOW! That's alot of visiting to do.
We will be on the way back to Denver on the 4th of March and then to ALTECO 08 in Orlando at the end of the month. We hope to see as many of you as possible. Thank you for you continued prayers and encouragement.

Hello,
I stumbled upon your blog while searching for information in Yurmiaguas. I spent almost 100 days there back in 1993, assigned to the counter-narcotics radar site at the airport.
I will never forget my time spent there, getting to know the people and exploring the city. We used to hang out in front of the airport and play with the children. I "adopted" a family, having my family back int he states send me things to give to them. I stayed in touch with them for a year or so after I left, but as time passed, the only contact I had from them was continual pleas to send them money... and I eventually lost contact with them. I do wonder how the kids are and what they are up to...
It has been a year or two since I Googled Yurimaguas to see what news I could find... I am sad to learn that the airport is pretty much only taking charter flights, with no routine air traffic. I can only imagine the impact that has on the economy.

Hi Ken and Terri! Sorry we've been lost in "cyberspace"! I hope you receive this comment as I'm still not getting the hang of these blogs. We signed up with a google username but have still had trouble. I guess you need to send us a "Blog directions for Dummies!" Anyway, we will be praying for next week. What date are you expected back in Denver? l I thought it was March but in one of your blogs I thought you said April. So sorry Pancho will not be traveling with. We will continue to pray for God to open a door for him to come out sometime in the future. I don't know how much I can write here so I'll probably send an email as well. We love you and miss you. Saw in your post that you're going to be in Orlando for ALTECO in April? We're going to be there in March!! Trust you will be at the one in March as well!! :) (Steve & I were not invited to the one in April.)
